"When visual design clarifies functional intent, the interface becomes intuitive."
Developers of multimedia must bare in mind the satisfaction level of the targeted audience. A concept born from a napkin sketch evolves into an interactive multimedia interface. The role of the developer is to create interactivity in multimedia software that provides an experience for the graphic user.
Keeping in mind my role as the designer of this site, I sketched a basic outline of the key points from my research to best deliver content to an audience. While I followed a linear presentation from my research, I allowed for interactivity between the user and the graphic interface to illicit a learning experience. Designing techniques were more of a trial and error basis as I learned how to navigate the jimdo software. I kept in mind this basic Vaugh maxim: when visual design clarifies functional intent, interface becomes intuitive. My goal was to create an experiential interface that considered viewer tracking while creating a balanced focus free of 'noise.'
